Privacy Statement

PRIVACY AND PROTECTION OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

BRC Trading Limited (the “Company”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.

This policy (together with our Website Terms and Conditions and any other documents referred to on it) sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.

Collecting personal information

The Company will ask you when we need information that personally identifies you (personal information) or allows us to contact you. Generally, this information is requested when you are registering for our current or future Services.

Personal information collected by the Company will usually be corporate related data but may include other information when needed to provide a service if required.

The Company also collects information about which pages our members visit within our site. This is statistical data about our users’ browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.

Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer’s hard drive. They help the Company to improve its websites and to deliver a better and more personalised service.

You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of the website. Unless you have adjusted your browser setting so that it will refuse cookies, the Company system will issue cookies when you log onto the website.

Use of your information

The Company uses your personal information for the following purposes:


• To ensure our site is relevant to your needs.
• To deliver services, such as news, documents, events, surveys and other information, that are part of your membership or that you have purchased.
• To help us create and publish content most relevant to you.
• To alert you to new services, updated information and other membership information.
• To allow you access to limited-entry areas of our site as appropriate.

The Company occasionally hires other companies to provide limited services on our behalf, including specific member services that require specialist company involvement or answering customer questions about products or services. We will only provide those companies the information they need to deliver the services to enhance your member service and they are prohibited from using that information for any other purpose.

The Company may disclose your personal information if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to:

• conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on the Company or the site;
• protect and defend the rights or property of the Company and its family of Web sites, or

Registering also allows you to tell us how or whether you want the Company to communicate with you. After registering, ensure that you establish your preferences within the Profiles sections. There, you can decide what information you want to receive.

The Company may send out periodic e-mails informing you of new services or information related to your membership. You will not be able to choose to unsubscribe to these mailings, as they are considered an essential part of the online service.

Where your information will be stored?

Your information may be stored and processed in the United Kingdom or any other country in which the Company or its affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities, and by using this site, you consent to any such transfer of information outside of your country. The Company abides by Data Protection Act regarding the collection, use, and retention of data.

Disclosure of your information

When you register, or otherwise give us personal information, the Company will not share that information with third parties without your permission, other than for the limited exceptions already listed. It will only be used for the purposes stated above.

Access to your information

We will provide you with the means to ensure that your personal information is correct and current using the Updates section of the members’ area.

If you register with the Company or subscribe to a mailing list, you can review and edit your personal information within the Profile section. You will be asked to enter your username and password to make amendments to your details.

Within the 'Edit Your Profile' section you can:
• View and edit personal information you have already given us at the Company.
• Tell us whether you want the Company to send you certain mailing lists if included in your membership.

The Company is committed to protecting the security of your personal information. We use a variety of security technologies and procedures to help protect your personal information from unauthorised access, use or disclosure. The Company will occasionally update this privacy statement. When we do, we will prompt you to re-accept the new terms on logging into the members’ area.
